Five Different Types Of A Miscarriage
There are five different types of miscarriage that you can have. Of course all of them are sad and depressing. It might still be a good idea to have some knowledge about these subjects. A miscarriage is something that is often overlooked. Everybody seems to think there is only one type of miscarriage but this is actually not true. There are threatened miscarriages, missed, inevitable and recurrent. These are all of the main types that you should be on the lookout for. I want to explain each of these in detail.
1. Threatened Miscarriage
This is when the patient is at risk of having a miscarriage at any time soon. This is when you need to take the proper precautions. You might experience a lot the common symptoms so a doctor might put you on threatened miscarriage watch. Which means there is a possibility at anytime for this to happen. The best proper precautions are lots of bed rest and healthy eating. Also remember to stay off your feet and not put any stress on your body.
This is when there is no possible way that you are not going to have one. It is accompanied by very heavy bleeding and severe pain. There is no getting around this and a doctor will diagnose you with an inevitable miscarriage when there is nothing they can do for you. You will probably be hospitalized until the miscarriage is over. Especially if you are more than 8 weeks pregnant. Since most happen within 9 weeks it is smart to do this just in case any complications happen.
A missed miscarriage is when a fetus has not yet been expelled from the uterus but it is already dead. This is especially bad if you are worried because there are not many symptoms to be able to watch out for. If you have stopped feeling your baby moving around or kicking it could be because you are dealing with a missed miscarriage. You will also need to visit a doctor to have the fetus expelled from your body manually.
This one is much less common but it can happen to anybody. This is when you have three or more miscarriages in a row, hence the name recurrent. There are many of ways that you can prevent this from happening but sometimes it is inevitable. If this happens to you it can be very devastating but you just have to get back up on that horse. I have talked about dealing with miscarriages emotionally before on my site. I would suggest you go take a look at this.
A Septic miscarriage is when you have a natural miscarriage. This is usually done by social circumstances or financial as well. Doing this naturally is frowned upon in most society’s but happens on a regular basis. It is not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing.
